TACSI's first homegrown social innovation project, Family by Family is firmly into the 'build' stage. We wanted to let you know what we've learned so far.

We have completed our prototype and we have a couple of big announcements and events coming up - but before that we would love your input.

Family by Family is a a program for families who are looking to improve and thrive in their family life by unlocking a largely untapped social resource - other families. That's why we're called Family by Family. If you're new to the project, you can find a lot of information about the project on our website (linked above) or our family project blog.

Having prototyped Family by Family we're now thinking about how it can scale. We're running numbers and talking to potential funders about a longer and larger prototype of Family by Family - to create change for more families whilst continuing to improve the model. In the spirit of continuous iteration we'd value your comments on our latest Family by Family Project paper - Family by Family Project paper 03 (PDF download). In 12 pages this paper sets out what the Family by Family model is, how it creates change and why families and government need it. We'd be keen for any insights, suggestions or questions you have. Is there anything more you'd like to know about Family by Family?

Leave a comment of drop us an email to let us know how we can make it better.
