AroundYou.com.au is a free, open access website developed to help individuals find highly localised events and activities in their community.

This can include anything from charity fundraisers to live music or sporting clubs to art gallery exhibitions. It can include any event or activity that involves people socially interacting with other people in their community.

AroundYou addresses the need for social cohesiveness and inclusion as the platform provides a bridge between people looking to engage with events and activities in their community and those organisations, groups and venues who facilitate them.

In Australia there is currently no comprehensive offering available where community members can easily access a reliable database detailing what's on in the local community. Information is fragmented across thousands of individual websites belonging to the various groups or veenues. AroundYou aggregates this fragmented information into one reliable source and constantly updates its database to ensure that only relevant content is displayed.

The technology aggregates this information into a database organised by location, date and category of interest and is displayed through our constantly updated website www.aroundyou.com.au.
