Our projects » Bold Ideas, Better Lives Challenge » Stage 2 Shortlisting
Our judges, the TACSI Board, have been hard at work assessing the 258 entries we received for the 2010 Bold Ideas Better Lives Challenge.
Our Board have a broad range of experience and expertise that they bring to the table and in the judging of the Bold Ideas Better Lives Challenge they have been ably assisted by our Advisory Panel of Jan Owen (Social Ventures Australia), Mark Daniels (Social Traders Australia), Jason Glanville (National Centre for Indigenous Excellence) and our very own Brenton Caffin (CEO TACSI).
So - drumroll please - the shortlist has been made (all 12 of them) and we'd like to welcome our 2010 shortlist to the fold. You can check them out here.
These final 12 now move into Stage 2 of the Challenge where they work with TACSI to develop an implementable project plan that shows in detail why their idea is innovative, how it can be implemented and the social impacts it will have on communities in Australia.
We think these ideas are exciting and they address a diverse range of issues affecting Australian communities in a wide variety of ways. The Challenge is really hotting up now - we've got $1 million to invest and our 12 finalists need to demonstrate over the next 3 months that their project should be supported.
