Carolyn is extremely passionate about bettering the lives of people both personally and professionally. She has a long history of work that supports and develops individuals, families and communities. Carolyn joined TACSI in 2010, co-leading the creation of Family by Family. She commenced in the role of Director, Family by Family in 2011.
Carolyn's strong drive to achieve social justice saw her complete a Bachelor of Social Science. She also holds qualifications in front-line management, workplace training & assessment, child protection and narrative therapy. Before TACSI, Carolyn spent over a decade working for South Australia's child protection authority, Families SA. One of her outstanding professional achievements has been the development and leadership of Safe Babies, an innovative pilot program working with high risk mothers and infants.
When Carolyn's not at work, you'll find her spending time with her family, friends and Labrador, Billie. She loves singing, performing in cabaret and musicals, hiking, watching chick flicks, and volunteering for a range of charities.
