Amy Gascoigne

Social Innovator

Amy has eleven years’ experience working in frontline service delivery within community and education settings. Her skill in community capacity building and community development has supported young people to develop their leadership skills and drive change within their lives and communities. With a Bachelor of Social Work and a strong focus on empowering community, Amy has co-designed nationally award-winning programs and was SA Finalist for Young Australian of the Year 2011 and the 2011 Commonwealth Bank Local Hero for SA.

Amy has a passion for finding fun, engaging and meaningful ways to learn from people, drawing on a background in Collective Impact. Amy’s Collective Impact work focused on increasing a sense of belonging across a whole community.

Amy believes that relationships are the most important aspect of social change work and feels relationships are strengthened by meeting people where they are and working with them to co-define the ways to work together.
