Kelly Ann McKercher

Principal: Capability and Participatory Design

Taranaki te maunga, Waiwhakaiho te awa, ngāti pākehā te iwi.

Kelly Ann has worked in social innovation for the past six years, and has a background in both design innovation and social science.

As a Principal, she leads the design and delivery of work that engage both people with lived experience of a challenge and professionals as active learners, researchers, designers and delivery partners.

Kelly Ann trains people looking to adopt or commision new ways of thinking and doing that strengthen social impact, as well as the self-determination and active participation of people who continue to experience poorer outcomes.

Before TACSI, Kelly Ann designed and delivered solutions across health innovation, child protection, housing, ageing well and positive youth development. As well as social innovation, she has led behaviour change approaches generated with community and supported by government.

Having spent most of her career in New Zealand, Kelly Ann brings experience and commitment to working in ways that acknowledge, value and hold an indigenous perspective.
