About

The Australian Centre for Social Innovation (TACSI), is looking for a First Nations Board Director to join its experienced board and help guide the future of our not-for-profit organisation working in social impact.

TACSI is a non-Indigenous organisation deeply committed to allyship, weaving this commitment through everything we do. We are proud to have partnerships with ACCOs, First Nations community leaders, cultural educators, and communities.

Key details

This is an opportunity for someone at the start of their governance journey, this could even be your first board role. We welcome applicants with experience in community leadership, law, finance, social services, health, education, or youth work who are eager to contribute to social change.

  • Meetings are held online for two hours, every two months.

  • This is a voluntary position, with a three-year term.

  • Guidance will be provided by Sam Wild, proud Cobble Cobble woman and experienced TACSI board member, as well as Chair Louise Sylvan.
