Alison Sharp (she/her)

General Manager, Strategic Operations & Internal Innovation

Working on Bidjigal and Gadigal Lands

Alison (Ali) is a proud Kiwi woman of Maori and Scottish descent. Growing up on Whakatohea and Te-Whanau-a-Apanui coastline in rural New Zealand, she is a saltwater kid at heart. Outside of TACSI you will find Ali outside in the garden, fishing, paddleboarding, or hiking.

Ali is a forward-thinking leader who disrupts conventional business practices with approaches grounded in principles of equity and transparency. She focuses on TACSI’s internal innovation, designing and refining policies, processes, and tools to embed our core values (WTLB).

Watch this space in 2026 for stories showcasing TACSI's innovative approach:

  • Financial transparency: Implementing open book finances to ensure clarity, shared understanding, and ownership of the organisation’s viability and success among all staff.

  • People & culture: Designing genuinely equitable career pathways and remuneration models.

  • Connection & learning: Establishing routines and rituals that foster deep connection, knowledge sharing, and continuous collective growth.

  • Reconciliation: Building foundational practices for allyship and reconciliation with First Nations communities.

At TACSI, diversity and inclusion is more than a statement; equality and accessibility are guiding principles embedded in everything we do. We strongly believe that it’s the collective sum of all our communities differences, life experiences, and knowledge that enables both ourselves and our partners to come together to tackle complex social issues. That’s why we’re committed to having a diverse team made up of people with diverse skills from all backgrounds, including First Nations peoples, LGBTIQ+, mature-age people, and people with visible and non-visible disabilities, regardless of sex, sexuality or gender identity.
