Ciaane Salomon (she/her)

Social Innovator

Working on Gadigal and Cammeraygal Land

As a social innovator, Ciaane facilitates the design, management and delivery of social innovation projects alongside the TACSI innovation consulting team across all areas of TACSI’s projects. Using her visual communication and design superpowers, Ciaane takes complex systems or ways of thinking and turns them into understandable, visually engaging ways to connect, making information accessible to all.

Ciaane is passionate about designing clear, innovative and actionable models for social change and helping others learn to do the same. Through the power of storytelling and creativity, she wants to empower others to lead, own and sustain models of change that centre people as the experts in their own lives. The result? A fundamental shift in the way people respond to complex social challenges, taking authentic allyship and own voices from a “nice to have” to a non-negotiable standard in every room.

Before joining the TACSI team, Ciaane worked as a consultant across Customer Experience and Innovation, UX and UI design, where she used her visual communication skills to support large-scale digital transformation projects in both public and private sectors. Among her career highlights is working with Western Sydney International Airport to design accessible screens and flight information displays, building a seamless, intuitive experience for all users.

When she’s not working, Ciaane gets up to all things art and creativity – sketching, oil painting, visiting an art museum, or finding the perfect book to camp out at the beach with.

At TACSI, diversity and inclusion is more than a statement; equality and accessibility are guiding principles embedded in everything we do. We strongly believe that it’s the collective sum of all our communities differences, life experiences, and knowledge that enables both ourselves and our partners to come together to tackle complex social issues. That’s why we’re committed to having a diverse team made up of people with diverse skills from all backgrounds, including First Nations peoples, LGBTIQ+, mature-age people, and people with visible and non-visible disabilities, regardless of sex, sexuality or gender identity.
