“A good death gives people dignity, choice and support to address their physical, personal, psychological, social and spiritual needs.”

We are honoured to be partnering with the JO & JR Wicking Trust as they progress their strategy for more older Australians to die where and how they choose.

In 2017, The Australian Centre for Social Innovation scoped where the JO & JR Wicking Trust could invest to build both;

  • a death and dying literate community in Australia; and
  • an end of life system that is responsive to rising levels of death and dying literacy.

As part of the Trust’s three-year strategy our role is to harness the opportunity of collaboration to generate these outcomes across Australia. We are seeking people with passion for change, authority to take action and the ability to work across traditional boundaries on the challenges that get in the way of good outcomes in end of life.
