What are you reading right now and why?
Claris, the chicest mouse in Paris – my daughters’ favourite
Where’s home? Where do you live?
The Inner West of Sydney
What were you doing before TACSI?
I worked with SYC for fourteen years leading teams and working with people on the frontline who were experiencing complex life challenges. My last two years with SYC I was the program development manager for the Sticking Together Project.
During this time, I was able to work with TACSI for nearly two years through an innovation process on this project. The Sticking Together Project is a youth employment solution. It pairs young job seekers with a dedicated coach for a sixty-week period, to give them the maximum chance of success when entering into and sticking with employment. We achieved incredible results and it is operational in NSW and VIC.
What do you do at TACSI today?
I work on multiple projects currently such as:
- Improving mental health outcomes by tapping into community led, people powered solutions.
- Supporting women 50+ to design a Homeshare matching service
- Preparing a model to be tested ‘live’ that supports an integrated response to domestic and family violence.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
Solve Homelessness – I live near King Street and in this very cold winter more and more people are sleeping on that street. Everyone deserves the dignity of a home, it’s just unacceptable.
What do you like to do when not at work?
I spend time going to yoga, fantasising about and eating good food, and of course spending time with my daughter and partner.
